Date Extended, 02/17/10 Teams from Canada, North Carolina, Maryland (Several), Northern VA have
already registered, U-15: 10 Select Teams & 21 Rec.
Teams, U-13: 12 Select Teams & 11 Rec. Teams and U-11: 3 Teams. Please note Friday Night Games
are Voluntary, Not Mandatory. If you want to secure a spot for your team(s), please give us with a phone call and
send the registration form. We can be flexible on the depsosit. Update 02/08/10 4th
Annual Nolans Jenkins Memorial Youth Preseason Lacrosse Festival.
Registration has begun, spots are limited. acac/CAYLC is
proud to announce the dates for the 2009 4th Annual Nolan Jenkins Memorial Youth Preseason Lacrosse Festival.
The tournament will be played the weekend of March 12-14, 2010. Because all games will be played on Field
Turf fields, the festival will not miss a game and will stay on schedule,
as it did last year. During the first three years we have hosted teams from Utah, Long Island, North Carolina,Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as our local teams.
Most of last year's participants have indicated they plan on returning in 2010. REGISTRATION has begun, please
reserve your spot today!
Lightning- U-11 players must have been born 1999 (or later). 12 Teams Max.
Midgets- U-13
players must have been born in 1997 (or later). 24 Teams Max. Juniors- 7th &
8th Graders U-15, players must have been born in 1995
(or later No High School Players are eligible). 30
Teams Max. Tournament Details: Two divisions within each age group, a Select Division and a Recreational Division.
That said, if you believe you have a good team, please put that team in the select group. The games will be 30
minute contests with each team guaranteed at least 6 games, the clock will be
stop & go with two minutes remaining if the game is within two goals. All fields will have
a score board and most will have a working clock. No advancement counts/rules for U-11 or U-13, the
standard 20 seconds to clear then 10 to get the ball in box will apply for U-15, the only count for the U-9, U-11
and U-13 age groups will be the 4 count for goalies in the crease and the 2 minutes remaining in the box rule.
Officials will be instructed to call stalling if deemed necessary. First come, first served. Because all games
were played on turf fields in 2009 every game was played, on schedule, despite the rain we experienced for most of the weekend.
WE will be adding two field turf fields this year. Team Fee this year is $850.00 (more fields & field rental
fees have increased), a non-refundable deposit $400.00 due 2/17/10, the balance will be due 2/27/10. Tournament
fee includes a Back Bag for each player.

CAYLC's
mission is to provide the boys with a fun, learning experience that will allow them to improve their skills and become better
players by competing against teams from many of the Lacrosse rich areas throughout the country. Since the inception
of CAYLC in 1995, over 90 players have gone on to play at the collegiate level, primarily in Division III , we are now
starting see former CAYLC players sign on with Top 20 Division I schools; Billy Sadtler with Towson Univeristy in 2006,
Steven Murray with Loyola College in 2007 and next year, Max Pfeiffer is a freshman at Notre Dame and
Daniel Leib is a freshman at St. Joseph’s in Pennsylvania. Howie Long, Jr. will play at UVA
in 2009. Owen Van Arsdale and Austin Geisler will join UVA in in 2010. Chapin Speidel will join the Denison
team in 2010.
