The CAYLC U-11 finished their first tournament of the summer with
a 2-1 record. In the first game CAYLC beat Beach 1 from Ocean
City, MD 10 - 0 and had 7 different players score. In the second
game, Patrick Blake scored 3 goals and CAYLC beat
TownsonTowne 4 -2. CAYLC got strong midfield play from Fitz
Woodrow, Okleigh Archer, and Christopher Woodfolk. The defense
of Brian Young, Logan Lucas and Collin Ferguson and Goalkeeper
Woods Gibbons played great all day Saturday giving up only 2
goals. Sunday morning they played Jarrettsville, MD and lost a
tough game 6-3. For most of the team, it was their first tournament
and the experience was great.
