The CAYLC U-15 team completed their first tournament of 2008, LaxSplash in Baltimore, with a 3-0 record this past weekend and win their division. CAYLC opened Saturdays play with a win over Team Pittsburgh, 6-3.  Then defeated a strong Jarrettsville, MD team 6-5 on a goal by Duncan Morris with under a minute to go. In Sundays contest, CAYLC overcame an early 2 goal deficit to defeat Towsontowne, MD 3-2 on a goal by Michael Vance late in the game to take the lead.  The midfield had strong performances turned in by Landon Mann, John Griffin, Cole Buckley & Michael Vance, the attack was led by Duncan Morris who scored a team high 8 goals and added 2 assists over the weekend. The stifling defense was led by Justin Hicks, Jack Hamer & Wilson Craig.  CAYLC’s two goalies, Jake Huber and Carter Speidel where superb in each game, coming up several spectacular saves when the team needed them most.
